Next Communities

Next Communities is the outreach initiative of Next Theatre in Evanston. It’s aim is to foster dialogue and awareness within the Evanston and Rogers Park communities. Each Fall, Next Communities kicks off it’s season with a series of community workshops and discussions to discover what issues residents are most concerned about. Through these dynamic interactions Next Theatre selects a pressing topic around which an ensemble of community members can be formed to delve deeper into the issue and explore its many facets, with the ultimate goal being the production of a theatrical piece to be performed for the community.
